PIA’s mission is to sell and service insurance products and provide risk management to businesses and individuals founded on the principles of integrity, knowledge and long-term relationships between our staff, our clients and the companies we represent.
Panhandle Insurance Agency (PIA) opened in 1925. Over time, the agency operated offices in Amarillo, Borger, Pampa, and Lubbock, Texas, until purchased by a national broker in September of 1981. To provide a better focus on the insurance needs of their customers in the area, local insurance professionals repurchased the agency on August 1, 1988. PIA relocated to Amarillo National Bank's Plaza II in November of 1991.
Our agency is a long time member of the Independent Insurance Agents Association on the local, state and national levels. We are able to market insurance coverage with several insurance companies. This allows us to offer you a selection of insurance plans and programs with the best combination of price, coverage, and service. In addition, we assist you when you have a loss and follow through to see that you receive high-quality service. Serving you is our principal concern.
Our staff has many years of experience, and we all work together to provide you the best service available anywhere. While service for an individual account is directly assigned to a number of our key people, our entire staff works closely together on larger accounts.
